Any information on sex trends (modern and historical)?

For my research paper, I am looking up the history of sex to answer the question "Does sex reflect culture or does culture reflect sex?"

I am looking for ANY information on the sex trends of
1. India
2. Germany
3. America
4. Egypt
5. China

Also feel free to add any information on any civilization/country..

As a sociology major, I think sex reflects culture. Most of our behavior is developed from our environment and upbringing.
